Brrrrrr. . .

The temperature was 18 degrees below zero Fahrenheit Tuesday morning and the temperature never got above zero all day. Not that I really noticed. I was feeling too much under the weather. I think I've got the flu. I woke up early Tuesday morning, took Pixie outside, fed her, and then laid down for a while to get the strength to get up and go feed the horses. Came back in. Laid down and slept some more. Got up and ate a little lunch. Laid down and slept for the afternoon to get up the strength to feed the horses again, take a shower and go to a village board meeting. (sigh)

'Tis the season, I guess.

Time Flies

What a week. I cannot believe it is a week since I've written anything for the Rural Route 2 blog. It's always hard to get back into the swing of things after the holidays, but when the holidays are not over yet and there's one more to go, then I guess that makes things even more hectic. For me, anyway.

The weather has been fairly steady over the past week. Not tremendously cold (not far below zero) and not tremendously warm (not above freezing). We have not gotten any new snow. And no new ice! Not so far. The weather forecast says that later on in the week, it will drop far below zero and might not even get above zero during the day. Ho-hum.

I have a blog entry written and quite a few pictures taken from our Christmas here at Rural Route 2 on Sunday. I have a new photo album on the web site, and I have only posted pictures to it a few times. Randy wrote up some directions for me, but he's going to have to help me again. What comes up on the screen does not in any way resemble the directions I have in a file on my computer. I don't have a clue as to how to get those photos onto Rural Route 2. . .
